I think this makes it official - lol

That`s been my experience with Tire Q2. I`ve applied it to Michellin and Goodyear tires after using the heat gun and without the heat gun. The heat gun definitely improves longevity, but that initial shine is lost after the first week and a duller satin look is left. After about 3-4 weeks, the shine is gone, but if you spray the tire and clean it with regular soap, it wipes clean easily.

This was actually from a few days ago. Rinseless wash using The Gloss Shop trifecta. Gave it 2 coats of Nattys Black using chilled spray and gloss for removal (thanks ron!). Wheels wiped with QD+, tires BF total eclipse. Snapped a couple pics in the mall parking lot later in the day. Nattys black might be the best one yet. I may add a couple coats of liquid red this weekend.

I did get a wash this am...finished just before sun came over the house. My car has over 103K miles.

Water: ph 6.8, moderately hard

Products used:
  • Blackfire Conditioning Shampoo - does not lather as well in this water
  • Pinnacle XMT 360 Wax (green version) - done after photo was taken
  • Mothers Reflections Tire Care
  • MK37 Cleanse all cleaner - did well on tires
  • CG V7 on jambs and wheels

Got a wash in before it got too hot out.

I love the black but I feel like the front end should get repainted due to all the rock chips and thin paint.

Thanks Ron. On the second coat I spritzed the panel very lightly with spray and gloss which made application even more smooth.

my friends laugh at me at the car shows because I keep 4oz of spray and gloss in my cooler :)
nevermind the 32 oz bottle hidden under the ice :)

Washed up the Highlander.

Foam: Gyeon Foam v DP Xtreme Foam
Wash: mix of Gyeon and Xtreme Foam
Topper: Wolfgang Detail Spritz
Tires & Trim: BF AIO
Interior: Kenotek AIO

Got another quick wash in today, this time it was my wife`s car which has been neglected for several months.

Before. The salt from the air/ocean was really built up, coupled with lots of highway miles and rain storms.

After. It`s pretty overcast so not really much of a good shot.

The cleanest Ford`s on the street!

got it mounted. it`s reading 3ppm on the monitor but my handheld reads 2ppm. not sure if it`s suppose to read 0 or if 2/3 is okay

Still needs LSP

Burned some serious midnight oil until 6am. Back at it since 11.

I may have gone a little overboard... :)
