What did you do detailing wise today?

I used the green on the edges b/c I had a few strips left over from masking off the doors (then used the much wider blue tape to fill in the gaps)

that green tape was purchased specifically because my blue 3m delicate surfaces tape will leave a little bit of residue on the rubber if left on for more than an hour

the green tape does not leave the same residue and is also the perfect width for a lot of the mopar vinyl my buddies use

just Adapt on a UHS pad with duetto and blue pad with my nano

Just need drivers side then its time for essence and call it a day

I really enjoy being able to take my time on this detail

Took a little getting used to but csl is pretty easy when applied in small sections. Worst part is trying not to drop the glass vile and dropper- yikes!

Video...csl is on hood, roof, trunk and all of passenger side.

My lc coating applicator got super slick so i tossed it and made a sandwhich to eat, stupid lunch/dinner thread made me hungry, haha.

I`ll be honest, I left it too long on the top of the passenger doors and it took essence + blue rupes pad on my Nano (speed5) and firm pressure to get it off, fixing to reapply those areas.

Note to self-dont get cocky and try to do an entire door at once. :/

actually used a lc orange pad on my gg6. the finish was pretty beat, daily driver that sits outside most of the time. i was very surprised how slick the finish became after the sealant, probably the slickest i`ve ever felt.
 
I took one of my dogs to the vet today for her annual checkup, when I got home I "de-dog haired" the interior of my truck.
Ever care`s FurErase, a vacuuming and Folex made the truck nice again. :cool:

Spent over an hour on those dang tail lights alone. Used two entire nano batteries up

The clear parts are almost perfect but th black is improved a lot but still not where id like it. Too afraid to go more aggressive though.

hoping the coating holds up there

Should i open up dlux for this?

putzing on my dads car, used gg 6" with a 5" backing plate and cg mf pad and bf src compound, and followed with lc 5" orange thin pro with menzerna po 91e extensive polish
