What did you do detailing wise today?

Still haven't used bnb because I like natural look so much. Is durability better on bnb?

Think I've only used natural look once, don't remember now. I just normally reach for bnb for tires and natural look for inside.
Just old habits are tough to get rid of I guess.

I pampered the SRT8 today and had the paint thickness checked.

Interior:
· APC'ed dirty parts (cup holder, petals, etc.)
· APC'ed winter floor mats and scrubbed clean soap & water (applied 303)
· Quik interior detail spray for the majority of the interior surfaces
· Leather cleaner on the seats
· Brushed and Vacuumed carpets
· Applied leather conditioner/serum
· Windows & Mirrors with glass cleaner and glass Microfiber
· New air freshener (new car smell)

Exterior:
· Pressure rinsed off
· Washed (4 buckets w/ grit guards, chenille wash mitt, wheels /w another wash mitt & wheel brush, grill & emblem done with a boars hair brush)
· Flood rinse (hose no attachment)
· Quick detail mist on the waffle-weave Microfiber drying towel (drying add)
· Trim & tire dressing
· Polished exhaust tips

Picture (from today):

Re did one of the most hatefull part on the xterra this morning. The WIPER COWL. Cleaned first with mothers trim cleaner then sealed with WGTS. Time consuming with all the hard to reach areas! DONE and SEALED.

I forgot to mention yesterday I also did the wiper cowl on my wife's CR-V. Huge pita. I removed the wipers to make it a little easier though.

it rained yesterday. So I used some detailing spray for lubricity and got all the water spots off the G. I did a full wash Saturday and she was still clean, just those darn water spots.

I finally got to use some Butter wet wax Saturday too, def a deep wet look afterwards!

Welcome to Autopia!

Took off winter wheels and detailed the 4 wheel wells. I must say it took much longer than expected (1-2hours per) and my wheel brush is caked in grease/oil from rustproofing. I finished off by mounting my 20inch Alcoa wheels (perfectly cleaned over the winter, layered with sealant and topped with 845 wax). I finished too late to take pictures (2am) but I'll definitely go for a cruise and get some shots today.

Picked up a new set of wheels for my daily driver on Thursday. Took almost a year but I went with this wheel. My tires had been in the garage for almost that long waiting for a set of wheels lol.

I cleaned up the tires and prepped everything for them to go on this weekend.

Tires are dressed with Meguiar's Ultimate Black Tire Coating and the wheels have been coated with Pinnacle Black Label Wheel Coating.

Finally got my new set of wheels. No more black wheels.

Black wheels are: Falken Koblenz 18x8, +35 offset on a 245/45-18 tire

Silver wheels are: Boss Style 353 Concave 18x8, +35 offset on a 245/45-18 tire

Tires are wearing ultimate black tire coating and Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Wheel Coating. Cleaned the up with some D114 to remove any residue from the nitrile gloves I was wearing.

Like i said, her escape is light duty. It was washed yesterday. So today it's windy but overcast. Great for waxing. So it got a coat of pinnacle souvern. As i finished, it just started to spit rain.

helped a friend with maintenance work on his 2009 Harley roadglide all morning and detailed it for him in the afternoon. one step with poorboys ssr1 and wolf's chemicals body wrap nano paint sealant.

Trim looks good on that Harley too. Man my Kawasaki will NOT accept SSR1 as a one step, nor anything with real abrasives. It likes PB PP on a blue pad.
hmmm, on an inside note Tropicsteve, ever think of being the mobile Detailer for Caliente? ^_^

I mainly just do family and friends. caliente, for everyone who doesn't know, is a nice nudist resort in the area. there are a few others in this area also.:)
yeah, ssr1 is pretty mild stuff. you have to be careful on some of the Harley's saddle bags, tour packs, and farings- pretty thin clear coats. the tanks and fenders are usually very well clear coated.

Finished my OP removal project and took some pictures without filters or post processing:

Check out the pedestrian' reflection on the back door in the picture above ^

I'm very impressed with the outcome of my project. I started off as first time PC7424 user and finished off with results like these (it did take months, but all good things take time).
