What are the best sources for MF waffle weave towels?

Another newb question:

I've noticed several different places seem to have what would appear to be quality towels (Griot's, Meguiar's, etc), but what types/kind do you recommend?

There are several places that carry the MF waffle weave that everyone raves about, but they vary in price. How about the quality? Where is the best bang for the buck, and how many of each should I get for my personal stash? If I get the MFs, should I still try to get some quality 100% cotton terry towels as well?

Thanks.

I have Pakshak's waffle weave towel and I too am extremely happy with it. Can't beat the price and service too. I got my towels in a few days from Hawaii and I live in NH!

I like all of Griot's products I use but when shipping charges come you should just bend over and be ready to take it.

I have heard good things from Pakshcak too.

Another :xyxthumbs for Ranney and Pakshak. Great customer service, Great Products, SuperFast shipping. His WW MF kicks butt !!

I found some at Costco. Twelve in a pack for something like 8 bux.

I've used them installing the Klasse Twins and they worked great.

Awhile back someone here with more knowlege than me said they were good qullity and very good price.

Nick,

I heard someone say the same thing about the Costco MFs. Did you get any micromarring from them at all? If they perform well, you sure can't beat the price.

Jeremy

Another bonus about Pakshak is that they ship free to US and Canada ! Plus the price is much lower then DFtowel.

Hi Jeremy,

No micromarring these eyes could see on my emeald mica green.

I used them to apply and remove 5 coats of Klasse SG.

Thanks guys. One more question, how many of each type & size of MF towel should I get. Imagine you're doing a full detail on your car: wash, dry, clay, etc. etc.. (however many coats of wax, etc.), what would you want to be equipped with?

Thanks!

I've got just the smilie for that...but I'd probably get banned, so use the theater of the mind. :lol

I've only got one waffle weave towel that I got with some product samples to try, so I don't know what brand it is, but I really like it!

I would get the following to start:

24 x 36 waffle weave towels - 2

16 x 16 terry towels - 10

That should do you for quite some time, and it'll give you enough so that you're not worried about picking up a fresh one if you drop one.

damn... might have to get some of these. how do they rate up to his regular MF towels? what's so special about them that warrant such a high price. Ranney is da man fo shoa since i've ordered from him in the past.
