GOT PREP?
I had a fairly busy weekend. The temps were near 100 and the humidity was around 40%, I was dragging by the end.
First up, I had two vehicles at the same location. An elderly gentleman who needed his cars cleaned up, he wanted one-steps. This guy was as cool as a fan, 80 years young, HEAVY smoker (but he never inhales
), very hospitable. He had a cooler full of ice with water, a 2L of coke, and a golf towel ready for me when I arrived. He even fed me a BBQ sandwich for lunch. I really dig old cats like this who tell it like it is, anyways…..
I started with his wife’s car, it was in fair shape.
Final process was:
Wash with EO car wash (pro line)
Clay
#66 via PC with S.M. Arnold green [ad
Glass cleaned with NXT GC
Wheels cleaned with acid based wheel cleane rcut 50/50 with water
Engine, tires, and wheel wells degreased with EO All purpose degreaser cut 5:1
Engine dressed with EO water based dressing cut 50/50 with water.
Tires dressed with No Touch seriously wet
Interior:
Costco APC on everything (10:1)
Floor mats pressure washed, then extracted with LGCM
Dakota “non-smoke aerosol to remove the smoke odor.
