:faint: Bulletin: Scott enters the modern age!! :woohoo: I think all those "56K NEED NOT APPLY" friendly warnings were for you! How happy are YOU?!

Joe, cars look AWESOME :bigups Sounds like that extractor you got for Christmas is really working out well.

What do you dress the interior with? I see you use the APC. I assume that's to clean everything. But what do you dress with, if anything?

Also, is the Costco APC that bright green Kirkland stuff I see all the time? Seems like you and Sean really like it. I may have to pick up a jug when my Castrol APC runs out.

I see you do a lot of engine degreasing in your driveway. How is the driveway? Is it stained at all. If so, what do you use to clean it up with?

:)

Thanks Seth, when I do dress, I use Meguiars #40, these details are not dressed. I do not typically dress unless A. the customer asks for it and pays accordingly, or B. the vinyl is older and needs conditioning. IMO, dressing vinyl is optional and if cleaned regularly will age just fine. I dressed my dash for the first time in five years last month, just because I was bored with the look.

Yep, that is the stuff, looks like green slime. It is not as potent as the castrol APC. IMO it is best suited for interior jobs, though at 5:1 it *can* tackle some engines and whitewalls.

My driveway looks fine, but I really don't do *that* much degreasing at the house. I get the occassional detail that comes to me, but most of the time I come to them.

Thanks again EVERYONE!!!

I have not visited this board in a while. Looking at your work reminds me of why I started checking in at Autopia in the first place. As always GREAT JOB !!!

Joe: Can you comment on the Eagle One Dressing and APC?

Did you get a pro extractor? If so, which one? Comments?

The dressing is AWESOME, I really like it!!! I have been diluting it 1:1, but will change to 2:1 after I use this up. It smells like cherry vanilla (sort of like GC, but more cherry) and is on the thick side. At 1:1 it needs to be wiped down in the engine bay as it is too high gloss for my liking. I think 2:1 will be the correct dilution for engines and wheels wells. Full strength on tires it rivals the gloss of B&B(durability is not as good though). Because of its' consistency it does need just a few minutes longer to "set" as opposed to something like #40. I have a 5 gallon so hit me up if you want to try some.

The degreaser is average IMO. I prefer the stuff I can buy locally personally. I am just beginning to play with dilutions though, I had it mixed 2:1 IIRC. I will try 1:1 and see what happens. The bottles says 15:1 for light duty and 5:1 for regular use....I will continue to use the gallon I have at diferent ratios.

No *real* extractor......yet. I am still using the LGCM, it did poop out on me finally though. During the second detail the clean water tank began leaking through the bottom of the machine. Looks like I will have go back to my local closeout store and drop another $39. :D
