GOT PREP?
Saturday was a really crumby day to detail here in Memphis. Rain on and off and cloudy all day. I had two details booked at the same residence. i was only to complete one because of the inclimate weather.

First up, a minivan. :eek And black to boot!!

Wash
Clay
SSR2.5 with a polishing pad (meg's)
NXT by hand

The interior was cleaned with an APC with two teaspoons of Hi temp's protein stain removing powder. I will do a seperate review on this product.

On Sunday I had a two cars, the first of which was scheduled to be at my house around 9:30. He showed up at noon :brick It would not have been a problem except for the fact that I had another guy scheduled to come at 1:30. So I got on the phone and called the only detailer in the area that I know of that does outstanding work, 00Ranger. He showed up about an hopur later and we commenced to TCB. I could not have completed these details without him. On the type R, he did the interior while I polished the paint.

Process was:
DACP via PC and a meg's polishing pad
Speed glaze via PC and a meg's polishing pad
NXT

The interior was again done by 00ranger. It was vaced, cleaned with APC, then dressed with #40.

Next up was a BADLY hologramed Harley Davidson edition truck. He had taken it back to the same body shop SIX TIMES and this is what he ended up!!!! Some of the spots were actually burns in the clear and would not come out. You can see them in some of the pics as they look a bit blurry.

00Ranger washed as I was finishing up the typeR. We then split the car in half and applied DACP via PC's and meg's polishing pads and topped with NXT.

Again, very sorry about the afters, We just ran out of daylight.

These afters show nothing, but atleast you can see the truck. I really liked the lines of it.

Those are pretty awesome transformations! How much did you charge and how much are you charging the CL600 owner?

Once again, great details!!!!

Black is definitely my favorite color!

Wow man!

Never cease to amaze me...You and 00Ranger both :)

First off, that van...Wow on the interior and exterior...Better than new.

Second, shoot the R owner...2.5 hrs late and a wrecked R...disgrace...What a transformation though :)

Third, those are probably the worst buffer burns I've seen or close to...There should be a driver's test before getting behind the wheel :rofl

G'Luck on the CL65 :)

CL 55 or one of the CL's. How do you like APC+ in general? Wondering if the gallon I grabbed was useful buy. Great detail work!

Wow. Great work. I can't believe you do minivans! :lmfao

It must be cool being able to detail a CL65 TWIN TURBO V-12 Benz! Talk about money to burn. I'm sure you'll make it look awesome as usual!

With your work, it's not really necessary to label the before and after shots - it's pretty damn obvious!!

$140,000 is about $40,000 short of a CL65AMG.

exactly... its just a cl600.. have fun detailing that... anyways, those transformations on the the type r and f150 are incredible.. nice job... lookin good.

I think those are the worst buffer burns I have ever seen as well.

those are all great transformations! thanks for sharing the pics.

Wow! Nice job. Great job on the R. as well as the others. Both of you. How long did it take to remove those swirls with the PC if I may ask? That was amazing.

Did you use this concotion on the whole interior or just the carpets? They look great. I'd be interesting in reading your review.

Outstanding job fellas.

Hi guys, sory for the lack of response. I have just been out of the loop for a second.

zainoshine, $225 for the TpeR and $185 for the HD truck(exterior only). Thanks!

GSRstilez, I know exactly what you mean I could never a car like that get in such horrible shape. Thanks very much for the compliments. Your work is always outstanding and I take a compoiment from you very highly.

derek37, it only took about 1.5 hours to remove the holograms from the truck. I would not put a rotary on it as it had been buffed that hard 6 TIMES. I could tell that there were burns in the clear and I did not want to risk further damage. I did use the coccotion for the entire vehivle.

Thanks again to everyone for the kind words!!!

The R didn't come away as well as the minivan or the Harley F150. Was that because of the lack of care by the owner? It just didn't have the sparkle that the other two had, at least judging by the pics. Oh, but this is NOT to say anything negative about your work! You obviously did a great job on this car!

The paint was rather neglected. I brought it to what was IMO its maximum potential. That is all that I can do. I appreciate the compliments.
