okay. time for a final update for this test... 111 , surf city shine on, liquid glass, and 3m performance finish are still going. 3m is the only one i still think looks okay. everything else. i consider done. .. this all means nothing without pictures to prove it though. so here goes the dial-up on my fossil of a computer downloading some pics from my camera. enjoy
heres the 3m, which is doing the best by far ^^^^
^^^^^ thats liquid glass
^^^^thats the roof... all that is left beading in the roof is SOME of the 111, and surf city shine on where both sealant and glaze were used.... no poorboys, collonite, or klasse to speak of... ..
^^^^^6 theres another shot of the roof.
i must say, a few things really suprized me.. ive always liked the 3m for its durability, but didnt think it would outlast 476 or klasse in a billion years... i didnt expect 845 to outlast 476 either... i knew mothers carnuba wouldnt do well, and it was the first to go on the hood... for the first month or 2 i washed every week with a slightly strong mix wash... then it got washed maye every other week up until i left for my vacation in california which was great by the way.. so until today it hadnt been washed in 3 weeks. so i think im calling it quits with this test.. hope i didnt dissapoint anybody with my lack of updates..
by the way. we are selling the car soon.. so im debating weather or not to start a test... i could always do them on my dads truck, or moms subaru(but thats silver, so beading pics might be an issue.. id like to do a test on layering.. and a few more products... i want to try layering klasse, and a carnuba, and see if additional coats do yeild a longer durability, or not.. but idk.. im going to start that trim test very soon, and hope its over before we sell the car.. im starting to prattle, so ill stop. thanks for reading!!! hope it helped
