Wax Suggestion

After any correction work done, any of these will work for you: Natty`s blue, Pinnacle Souveran or Blackfire Midnght or Black Ice.
 
On that paint I`m betting the Fusion looks a tad better than Souveran. The Fusion gives paint a little glassier shine where the Souveran imparts a darker, deeper shine. Either would look great. P21S is a good wax too. Thanks for the photos! I still pine for my 93 Vette convertible (triple black). Enjoy!
 
rlmccarty2000- Given your description, I`ll back off of my hard-sell on the Souveran. I find it sometimes does the "darker/deeper" thing (my light gray metallic ss Jag) and sometimes doesn`t (Audi silver). Since I don`t know from the paint on that blue `vette I`ll defer to your expertise :D

That said...

mjgraniero- My last `vette was even more of a garage-queen than yours! (FWIW, it was Pewter.) I even used Souveran on the underneath! Got so Autopian about the thing that I hardly ever drove it :o

I`ll be interested to hear what you choose and how you like it.

I wouldn`t say my vette was a garage queen this summer. 800 miles a month is a healthy amount. Garage queen during winter, absolutely.

I chose both fusion and Souveran in the small 3oz sizes so I could experience both. Unfortunately I won`t be able to provide my review of each until next summer. I want a couple months with each product to decide.
 
Tough to beat Souvern. Incredible look and pleasurable to use. If you get tired of waxing Cosmic V1 color coded or Cosmic V2
 
Gotta ask:Would anyone recommend using CarPro`s Essence or Poor Boy`s World Black Hole on this dark blue `Vette BEFORE apply the wax LSP of choice??
 
Essence high gloss polish and let sit an hr or 2 after buffing it on and taking it off, then apply bfwdafpp, let sit another hr or 2 then top with either black ice currently on sale on autopia or midnight sun ivory This will give a shine like no other, especially when using the car pro gloss pads
