Have you (or anyone) tested these mitts for true 100% cotton content?tom p. said:..I purchased 5 cotton chenille wash mitts (made by "Turtle Wax") at Walmart. They were $2.50 each. They are compact which I really like but their best feature is that they are not disintegrating in the wash machine. In fact, after numerous washes (gentle wash cycle), they still appear virtually new and have shed only minimal fibres.
I have tried many different cotton chenille wash mitts and never found any that lasted. These Turtle Wax mitts seem to be an excellent value.

:doh Darn, so much for that idea.ShowroomLincoln said:I tested them a few months ago, they did not pass the burn test. They are NOT 100% cotton.
lol! I want a chenille mitt because, as I stated eariler, it's white so any dirt and grime I pick up will be easier to find/see.masterofreality said:
Why are you using cotton as oppposed to natural wool?
I've heard natural wool is very, very good, if not better than cotton... someone please reassure my newly purchased wool mitt! Oh... and I bought it at Wal-Mart, that place reeks of right wing fanaticism.![]()
