Wash mitts

I'm not happy with my fireman's nozzle - same $5 one from Stuff-Mart. Won't completly shut off (emits a continuous fine mist). I threw out the packaging, thought about buying another one and taking the broken one back, but for $5, I'm almost tempted to cut my losses and move on.

Get the real thing. Get the Bonair Ultimate Hose Nozzle. The thing is indestructible.

Got this info from where I last purchased my mitts. :detective
Please note that the sheep that make our products come primarily from herds raised for their food value rather than their hides. Sheepskin is a recycled byproduct and no endangered species skins are used in our products.

So I guess we'll keep the animal rights peeps at bay (for now) :phone2:

i was at target yesterday and they had the vroom wash mitts at this location they were very plush 100% sheepskin mitt's for $4.99. i would say they were in comparison to my $15.00 mitt i bought from the sheepskin store.

plush yellow/gold MF drying towel $7.99, i picked up 1, i would've have like to picked up a couple of them they were that nice.

i also picked up a nice blue carry all caddy $ 3.99 to put all my products in, a one shot deal i hate to go back and forth to the house.i've seen the carry all caddie's for as much as $ 14.99 so now was as good time as any to buy one.

I have several Walmart Euros and they are a good value. Besides having one with a small hole in it, they hold up well. I wash them in the machine and air dry them after each use.
For Christmas I rcvd two camel colored mits from sheepskin.com. Wow! Talk about soft. I prefer the thumbless versions since I can easily flip to the other side.
I have a $10 off ($75 more) coupon from sheepskin. I am really tempted to buy a few more of them.

I bought 3 sheepskins from autogeek a while back, they were mega plush but got holes in them very quickly, jason kept sending me replacements but i finally gave up. they work good but they just fall apart after about 4-5 washes. I have now started using target vroom mitts. They are much bigger than they used to be. I usually will find 1 or 2 good ones on the rack and at 5 bucks a peice there a steal. I have used mine for about 15 QEW with no ill efffects on the mitts and 0 marring. Its a very quality mitt.

greg the mitts i seen yesterday were 2x as as the euro mitts from walmart and super plush i couldn't believe it. i didn't buy any because i went crazy when i posted this thread so now i have 5 or 6 but they all have the thumb heres a link with a nice thumbless mitt.http://www.detailersparadise.com/View.asp?ProductID=83632003800442-1225212614041

i was told to wash the mitts by hand and let'em hang dry out of the sun there is also a shampoo for the sheepskins mitts. i was told you could use the same shampoo on our MF's but i'm not sure how true this is.whatta you guys think about that?

I have been happy with the Vroom ones that I have been getting, but as BillD pointed out it's like picking fruit, not all of them are as soft.

On another note when I was in my local auto parts store I was looking at the Meg's display (Gee what a suprise). I checked out their wash mitts (knowing that they are synthetic) to see how soft they were by comparison, and to my suprise most of them had a defect. It seemed as though the material was expose to extreme heat or something else and cause the material to singe, leaving a very hard plasticy (sp?) edge on some of the fibers. I don't know where this may have occured, but I certainly wouldn't use it on my paint.
