One of my Pakshak Blue Waffle Weaves has ended up in the wash with some regular stuff and of course the dreaded fabric conditioner softener Is there anything I can do to save it when the cycle is done or is it too late?
I don't really know, but I'd just try to wash it again right afterward, to get the softener out of it. It may or may not save it, but it's worth a shot.
Fabric softener will not ruin the WW, MF or cotton towels. The avoidance of fabric softeners is because this will cause a noticable film when used on paint, especially dark colors.
Guys, I am very new to the vinegar stuff, would it stink up the washing machine? Cos i do my normal laundry in the same machine and i am not a great fan of vinegar smell
Try some Tide Free and do a vinegar wash x2. The problem with softners is that it clogs the splits in the end of the fibers.
That goes for cotton towels also.......stop using fabric softners on your bath towels and you will notice the difference in absorbancy (?) spell check please
