Waffle Weave Towel - Help

One of my Pakshak Blue Waffle Weaves has ended up in the wash with some regular stuff and of course the dreaded fabric conditioner softener :( Is there anything I can do to save it when the cycle is done or is it too late?

Cheers

I don't really know, but I'd just try to wash it again right afterward, to get the softener out of it. It may or may not save it, but it's worth a shot.

Fabric softener will not ruin the WW, MF or cotton towels. The avoidance of fabric softeners is because this will cause a noticable film when used on paint, especially dark colors.

No biggie.

Just re-wash and everything will be okay.

You may also try using vinegar in the rinse, so as to help with rinsing all the residue out of the fibers.

something happened to one of my ww now when i use it to dry water beads off of it

i have washed it a few times but i havent tried viniger tho

You would use the vinegar in place of a fabric softener. If you add it manually, you would do it during the final rinse.

on the final rinse cycle, i add vinegar as well to get rid of all the detergent. haven't had any problems with any of my mf's/ww's. :)

Guys, I am very new to the vinegar stuff, would it stink up the washing machine? Cos i do my normal laundry in the same machine and i am not a great fan of vinegar smell :)

Try some Tide Free and do a vinegar wash x2. The problem with softners is that it clogs the splits in the end of the fibers.

That goes for cotton towels also.......stop using fabric softners on your bath towels and you will notice the difference in absorbancy (?) spell check please
