I'm having a problem with my aftermarket clear front turn signal lamps. Since they are not OEM, the quality of the plastic is not so good, causing them to yellow because of sun exposure within 6 months of installing them. I have tried wet sanding them on the outside and cleaning them on the inside, and I am convinced that it isn't something that can be removed, but rather the plastic itself that is yellowing.
I'm already on my second set, and I don't want to keep buying new ones every 6 months. Is there any kind of polish or wax that prevents the sun from damaging plastics? Any help would be appreciated.
