Here is my interpretation. 3d knows the polisher is extremely loud, but its smarter for them (one of their guys or someone tied to them) to come out and say it first. so you do a video and say how loud the machine is , but i never understood why you had earplugs in but never turned the machine on or used the machine during the review. you only show the machine and what comes with it. so this gets everyone thinking about the machine and wether or not they should get it. then you do another review where you say how the machine has quieted down, and the selling point is where you say how much torque the machine has and how powerful it is.



Thats just my opinion. Im just having fun, I dont see why people get so upset when people express their opinion, well only when it goes against the status quo. Im just here to learn and for entertainment. I dont understand why people get so upset when one's opinion goes against whats popular at the time. But one thing I am interested in is what happened to the HDUNO challenge?

No one here minds your dissenting opinion, but it's the tone and implications of your posts that turn people off--you seem to have a very cynical view of reality. Just look a your last post---you imply there is some collusion taking place between 3D and Gary. In so doing you have attacked the honesty and integrity of 3D and Gary by implying that 3D feels the polisher is excessively loud so asked Gary to do two videos, one reporting on the loudness then another down playing it and focusing on the excellent torque produced by the polisher. C'mon!



This same tone and cynical attitude is evidenced in all of your posts---you express negative opinions in a confrontational manner without having first hand experience and it turns people off. There is nothing wrong with expressing opposing opinions, but present them in a way that doesn't attack people's honesty and integrity.



On the other hand, if this is your form of "fun" and "entertainment" to rile people up by attacking them without first hand knowledge -- then go elsewhere as it's not the place nor is it appreciated. (I speak for myself, but assume others feel the same) On most other detailing forums it wouldn't be tolerated and you'd be banned, but Autopia.org is very open so it is allowed, but don't be surprised then when people jump all over you for your remarks.

Exactly my point, how can you tell a tone from print? I presented my interpretation. I never said it was a fact and I never attacked anyone. You say collusion as if said they were commiting a crime. Its not that serious, its smart product marketing. Be a leader and not a follower,

Actually it is that serious; tone or no tone you attacked the credibility of a respected industry professional. I'd advise you to discontinue your trolling and borderline libelous comments. Your jollies can surely be had elsewhere.
 
So, Garry mentioned his clip in the video, BIG DEAL! Nothing wrong with a lil' self promotion. The basis of the video is CLEARLY on the polishers. There is NO bias in the video review. Garry PHYSICALLY SHOWED us how each one compared, and it was easily discernible that the HD polisher has the most torque! I(formerly 07 z-oh-6) have changed my opinion about a product MANY times...LOL! For example, I initially loved the Flex 3401, now I can't stand it! Initially, Garry thought the polisher was loud, but the more he used it, it isn't so bad. Is that so hard to believe??

Hey Paul, thanks buddy. Yep, ended up with a '12 SS. Bye-bye z06, but bye-bye credit card debt, too! :D The z06 will leave the SS standing still, but it's still a fun car and looks :cool:.

I offered to do a complete and unbiased, 100% honest review of the polisher also. I also am not affiliated in any way with 3D.
 
Garry did that already. What is wrong with Garry's review? Why would anybody not trust Garry?
