I just bought the UDM and would like to keep myself updated on when the updates will be available. I'll probably just wait until winter to send it in when I'll have more down time.



BTW, my UDM arrived a few days ago, but I haven't opened it up yet. After which date were the switches updated?

Since I now own a UDM I did have a chance to see the switch.



The switch itself seems fine but it just works "backward". That is, the switch is exposed outside the ribs when OFF so it can be disturbed. It is more protected in the ON position. It guess it is a bigger engineering change to have it work so it cuts on when slide out rather than slide in between the ribs or extend the ribs (change to casting).

Good news. The switch replacement is complete and units are in-transit to me. I should have them by Wed/Thurs this week. I will make every effort to get them out by the following Monday.

Glad to see they will be on the way soon. It happened a couple of times to me yesterday I got polish in the face !! LOL !!!!!!!

The 240v version for the UK will be available before November, but I don't don't have an exact date. Depends on TUV America finishing their job.



A 240v model for the rest of Europe depends on timing of distributors placing orders.

My God David how do you keep track of all of this? Multiple lines, all this marketing, research production and everything else and still defending our country one weekend a month. Do you ever sleep?

If I dont get at least 7 hours a day I cant function. Everyone in my family is like that, oh how I wish I could change it.
 
I'm high on life... I work well with 3-4 hours of rest a day. I eat well, exercise, meditate and get a lot of energy from the universe. Life is good!
 
We will work as quickly as possible this week to get out the first batch. I'm working on the pictures and instructions today. We will do our very best to send the first batch this week.
