A+ Supplements - Excellence In Nutrition

was up zesty... ive tried no2 and similar products and they work ok if you take them as they recommend . im using an andro product by gaspari nutrition called m-one-t . and its the best supplement ive ever used .. ive used them all. you get the strength gains of creatine without the water retention . you might not want to mess with pro hormones at your age but im just passing along info for anyone who wants to get a product that really works .

hmmm, so big ron, you really are BIG ronald huh? yea, i probably dont wanna mess with any hormones at my age, maybe when im a bit older. were there a lot of things that you thought of negatively of NO2? any positives?

i was also considering creatine, but being that i am a tennis player, i didn't wanna bulk up too much and lose on speed a lot. i heard NO2 made you faster and gave you more stamina. thats what i really wanted. however, that may not be true, we'll see how this come out.

Zesty,
First off dont worry about putting 20 pounds on in the off season, it most likely will not happen. The only problem I see with the NO2 and creatine are that they are simply cell volumizers; they work by pumping more nutrients into your cells in order to grow and recover faster through normal metabolic pathways. You are probably better off, all depending on your age (>17), with a prohormone coumpound. I have personally used the VPX line exclusively with great results. The SyngexI/II stack works but also costs. Look into their products, and supplement with Nitrotech protein.
Taking the above will not however make you much stronger and faster without the work. You'll need to commit a minimum of 5 days a week in the weight room along with a minimum of 45 minutes of daily cardio, both endurance and speed training. Talk to a local trainer and get a solid workout schedule, I use a 4/1 split, training every body part hard every 5th day. Also I can not stress how important diet is going to be. Try to eat 5 small meals a day rich in protein and carbs., you be burning it off. Also 1 gallon of water is a minimum, you'll get used to it. Other than that good luck, let me know what you decide and keep posted on your results. If you have any other questions PM me, I've been at this for abot 7 years now.

zesty the thing i didnt like about n02 is you have to take it several times a day and i started getting off track after awhile .. as for creatine and endurance sports there is a good side and a bad side ..you will have more explosive power but you will be carrying more weight and will be prone to cramping in the heat ., i was a competitive road cyclist and used creatine and ephedrine to give me an edge in short races called criteriums that require short burst of power to sprint or breakaway from the main group . i was no good in longer races that required hill climbing or long races in the heat . i also was training with a very specific weight program tailored to cycling . i would recommend you talk to a tennis pro or a high level amatuer to get you on a sport specific training program .. they can help you more than we can . also at your age you shouldnt need too many supplements . they become a crutch ..

ah, unfortunately, that doesnt seem to be a possibility for my very soon. being that i go to private school, i have a one hour commute in the morning and in the afternoon. thats already 2 hours. i would love to wake up early in the mornnig to wake up, but i already have to wake up early to get ready for school. i get home at about 4:00, but then i have tennis lessons, so that sorta gets in the way. what i like to do is to work out in the free time, and being that winter break starts really soon, i plan to work out with my friend. from there, i may try to work out with the basball team every mon, wed, fri, if i can.. i guess in the meantime i should try to do more cardio becasue that is something that i can do at home.

ah, bigron, i wish i knew a way to contact a tennis pro to talk to.... maybe ill talk to a trainer of some type. the person that i know is really good is one of my aunty's friends. he was a tennis player, then became a weightlifter, and held some kinda record for bech (425lbs in the 150lb class i think). however, the thing that i find is the downfall of that is that he more or less believes in all natural, whey if anything. however, i've been taking whey after my workout for the last almost year, and havent reallly seen any significant gains. how many times a day do you guys take your protein? i used to take it once a day, immediately after my workout, however, im starting to feel that i shoulld take it more than once a day to get my muscles to recover faster. ex, i should take it in the morning, then after my workout which will be in the evening, so i would take it twice a day. what do you guy think?
