Trump 2016

My 79 year old Mother answers all the phone calls the pollsters make. She gets about 5 a day. She does not look to see what number is calling like everyone else. If I don`t recognize the number, I don`t answer the phone. I don`t believe in polls. It`s just something else for the talking heads to ramble about on the news.
 
IMHO - till about a few days from now, the "polls" ARE TRYING TO "SHAPE THE ELECTION", in a few days they will get more "real" so they get paid attention to next cycle.

Carter’s entire campaign had been built around portraying Reagan as unqualified and “dangerous,” in a similar vein to how Clinton has demonized Trump.
 
Reagan was simply a whole `nother critter entirely compared to Trump.

For that matter, so was Carter compared to Hillary. Spurious analogy IMO.

Goldwater/Kennedy might be a better choice, and look at how that turned out...especially in Historical context nowadays.
 
Still way early, but I didn`t expect him to be in it this long. I figured the popular vote would be reasonably close, but the electoral count would be a landslide for Hillary. Still could be, but it`s been much more of a contest than I`d thought.
