Trump 2016

And another one of my posts was deleted.

Please mods - just ban me for life.

I like this place and the people here, and how things can be discussed without personal attacks...

So, I keep coming back.

But, apparently, I post things on this forum that are not liked by *someone*

So, please just ban me for life.

God knows - I have have enough detailing supplies to last that long - so it`s no money lost....

Just ban me so I can go.

I would miss you a lot!

When Obama won both times the right whined and vowed a one term president and started the campaign against Hillary. Now the GOP wins and they are complaining about whiners. Nothing has changed. Even though the GOP does not have a lock on the Senate, it is still up to the GOP to govern and try to reach common ground with the Dems. If it is always all or none, then I suspect more none in many areas. However for all the talk to change, they kept Congress mostly unchanged.

The Dems will also need to find some crop of viable leaders in 2018 and 2020.

Nah. Just like the GOP did they will go off and try to figure out what they can do better. Now, Trump was not the GOP strategy they had back in 2012 like the witch hunts were. They had the votes to win but just not the majority in 3 of the key battlegrounds states. People wanted something different - even different what the traditional GOP base wanted to deliver with some GOP members openly opposing Trump. Poor Paul Ryan now begging to keep his job.

I see they`re throwing their temper tantrum outside Trump Tower and in Chicago.

It is truly disgusting. The amount of hatred, and absolutely vile filth coming not just from mainstream media talking heads and hollywood celebrities, but everyday people on Facebook too...

I am reading
about everything from: people branding Trump and his supporters of being racist and sexist, saying "hate won in America", ridiculously immature declarations like "not my president", publicly admitting breaking down into a crying frenzy, and just about every other symptom of a severe panic attack.

I just don`t understand it. There is a stark difference between what people who have met Trump personally, and those who only know him through the mainstream media`s talking heads are saying about his personality.

He`s a political outsider, and nowhere near being a hard-right Republican. They won`t even give him a chance, they`ve been brainwashed into thinking he is the anti-christ. Thankfully, I think enough people are waking up to the *insane* media bias. Even as a right-leaning guy, I used to think the "biased media" thing was just a worthless talking point. But after last night`s election? Not anymore.... No one trusts the networks, and it`s why WikiLeaks has basically become the news.

I like this, less competition when I begin my new job search this year. While these tarts are busy snap chatting each other at these protests I`ll be busy pounding LinkedIn getting a new job.

I have no respect for people who protest about their "circumstances in life" and yet act like fools.

Its really disturbing. This segment of the population protests every time something doesn`t go their way. They also call everyone who doesn`t agree with them stupid, a sexist, a bigot, etc.

Its absolutely unbelievable.

A legal election without any scandal or controversy regarding the actual election itself, with a clear winner within the law and people march in the streets and cry injustice. WTF?

The right wingers were terrible with Obama, but it wasn`t this bad. Its hilarious watching the liberal buttons on Facebook, latching onto every BS accusation floating around- even immediately dismissed as false by snopes.

And now this idiot on the street in Chicago saying Hillary should file a lawsuit saying it`s not fair... Seriously? You claim to be the party of educated people, holier than though, yet this is how you act? It`s truly embarrassing.

Many people here did not like Obama and his policies. Now the shoe is on the other foot. Trump is in and a lot of people here will not like him or his policies. He will be President just like Obama. Remember the things you said about Obama. They will be said about Trump. Trump is our President (elect) and for the good of our nation we need to put aside petty feelings and accept that fact. I wish that all people would have accepted Obama as President, now Trump will probably get the same treatment and it will further divide this divided nation. I learned to follow orders from my leaders while in the military. Many of my leaders were inept, but I respected their rank and followed orders. You can respect the office without respecting the individual.

All you ever hear is vile names and claims of violence being thrown on the Right, but it sure seems like it`s the left that embraces it and it feels like it`s getting worse

not that it matters.. but curious how trump and his supporters would feel if hillary won the electoral vote and he won the popular vote.

Likely not surprised, and I highly doubt there would be riots in the streets. Could be wrong, though.
