Todays Detail - Mercedes CL500

This CL500 was in pretty bad (but not horrible) shape. Swirls EVERYWHERE and the wheels looked like they werent cleaned for a year. It came out looking really great!
 
Sweeeet!! Huge difference in the before and after. I bet the owner even gotta woody when he saw it :lmfao


What products did you use ??

oops, your right. On the paint i used Zaino. On the wheels i used water and a lot of elbow grease. A lot of the brake dust was baked on and required mothers and some p21s gel that sat on there for a little while.
 
both z2 and z5 with z6 inbetween each coat. Some customers want a "show car look", and they dont care if doesent last very long. In that case i top zaino with some p21s (s100) carnuba wax and the result is amazing. Usually people who are going to a car show or car meet would get this so their car looks amazing for that certain date. For "real" show cars, i do a VERY extensive detail which takes several days depending on the type of show car.
 
How long did it take you to polish out all that spiderwebbing? If I remember correctly, you said that you do everything by hand (no PC or rotary), right?

Thats right Marj. I dont use a PC so it does take me a longer time to do the kind of work that i do. This car took me just over 5 hours to complete and it came out flawless.
