Accumulator said:mshu7- Yeah, +1 on that applicator!
For some reason I simply hated "sliming" my tires so much that I seldom did it, even fitted "no dressing required" tires to the Yukon. Then I got one of those (got mine from TOL) and it made the job so easy that I'm doing it whenever it's needed.
Does the OptiBond look a bit shinier on the BMW's tires than on the Infiniti's? Kinda looks that way in the pix..

akimel said:A year ago I posted a review of Matte Tire Dressings. If you really like matte, I'd recommend Mother's Reflections, Duragloss 253, and 303 Protectant. You can get a 24 oz. bottle of Reflections at amazon.com for only $10.

Meguiar's Hot Shine Spray
Meguiar's Endurance Gel
Armor All Extreme Shine Gel (it isn't extreme at all)
Don't waste your money on boutique products. The three above give great results on the cheap.

If you're going to go OTC just get some Autoglym tire dressing![]()

It makes tires nice and black just like the product description says. I like this product, but I like just a wee bit more of a shine. I would definitely buy it again, but I still want to try Duragloss 253 and Zaino Z16. I was surprised to see 253 at a local parts store so that will probably be my next choice.
I've been using Stoners MSLT in the trigger version. It leaves a very nice semi-gloss finish too! Most places around here just carry the aerosol version. The trigger version allows for less messy application.
The tires with Opti-Bond in the post above look great!
