I have noticed a lot of new members coming from other sites, which leads to wonder why they where not her before? Honestly as a long time member, I think that DC had a lot more detail related threads that pertained to processes or how to fix something, than what I see today. Today its more reviews of products sold by AG and or introduction of new products.

I more than understand what happened with DC and why it's AF now. All things have a life expectancy, it was DC's time. I do believe that this forum is in a transition, and what lies ahead will be interesting to see what it becomes.

I fully agree. It was you and other members posts while DC that made my decision to join.
To those reading this, you should also read "Post with Experience" by Beemerboy it to me reflects much of the foundation that many members followed.
 
I only started to come to this forum at the beginning of July. I came here and to many other forums seeking for information of what was current. Detailing was a hobby I had in the 70s and 80s and then I got to busy and it died off. What I found is with most of the other forums they felt very commercial and getting answers was not easy. When I finally settled for this one it was because the wealth of information that was incredible to read and how much help you received. Within a short time I had more then enough information to make decision as to what I wanted to do to my cars and I had a solid plan. Now I can't wait everyday to read the newest post, it has become part of my daily routine along with email.

Thank you all for making this forum so great and bringing back an old passion I had about keeping a nice car.
 
yes indeed this place is awesome! What i love about it the most is the freedom to mention any product. Mostly because there are many great products from all sorts of company and speaking about them educates you about everything that is out there!!! :rockon:rockon:rockon:rockon

AutopiaFORUMS is a work in progress; we are still working on making this forum the best it can be. The first goal was to create a truly open forum where any product line can be discussed; I feel it has been a resounding success. The second goal was to create an environment where our members can share their opinions of any product they choose to discuss. Again, this was a success and has driven people back to the site.

We encourage members to share their experience with any product line or to help with their experience on any issue, should they choose.

Ultimately, because of our openness to discussion, the environment has been created for any member to share their opinions or experience on a number questions, issues, or circumstances.
