The time has come!

Nice, I wish I would have beeen able to afford a vehicle of that caliber for my first vehicle. Oh well, I'm happy with what I have, its better than walking.

We really should.

But then, people would just use that to say rude or offensive things, and refer to the text as a "just kidding" so they don't get in trouble for it.

My sister does that all the time. "G.A., you're an idiot.". "I'm a what?" "Just kidding, hehe :o "

Ah, that's right! I forgot to add pictures! I took them, and was going to post them as before pics in my "coming out" thread. (That's the car coming out, not me... wierd people).

Anyway, update- the car is like a fricken Lamborghini in that she's spent more time at the mechanic than in my driveway. After having the alternator replaced and the connections between the battery and charging system replaced, the dash flickery thingy still happened. She's going back under the knife in a little while. I don't want to jinx myself in the meantime though. (She's been doing great).

I got to drive her all around VA Beach this past week to run errands with dad. She's very eager to go faster. She doesn't like crawling slowly, and she will hesitate when you accelerate, almost anticipating to downshift and fly. Overall a very confortable car and I'm glad we picked her out.

Yesterday after washing her I found that someone gave the back bumper a love tap with thir car. The flaws are only cosmetic though, and will come out easily when she gets to our body shop guy for some PDR.

Ok, so finally some off the fly pictures:

More in the next post:

Some "in-action" shots! (BTW, the wheel laying face down never made contact with the driveway, and I was very careful as I laid it down.)

That's all I got guys! :wavey:

The car has been running perfectly since we picked her up the last time (the last time I updated it). I even got to spend an entire day polishing the paint :D

Sounds good. How's the paint coming?

Looking good G.A. Welcome to the Lexus family.

I would remove the pinstripes by the way.

Thanks.

The pin striping running down the body isn't so bad, but if you look closely at the picture of the rear, there's like a little pinstriping design around the Lexus roundel. It was the 1st thing I didn't like about the car.
