Detailing Rottweiler
Heck...they're all special...but there are always a few you go above and beyond for.
Today's adventure got me thinking about this....
Last Saturday and this Saturday I worked despite pouring rain and cold temps. Both times for monthly regular clients that I have been with for at least 3-4 years. Not many folks would pay to have their vehicles detailed as the rain bounces off their windows...but some do. Some do just because you've taken care of them for years...some do because they love the way their car looks...and some (more often than not) do because they appreciate you and your business!!! Enough so that they'll get their car detailed in the rain!!
Detailing is a service oriented business. Yes, you do have to be able to detail a car well but more often than not you have to make a client FEEL GOOD about spending money on a frivolous expense. That is the key to detailing for a living...SERVICE, SERVICE and SERVICE. In the end...the more you sell yourself...the better you will do.
Here is my client's '05 Maserati that I worked on today. I've taken care of his cars since '03. When I knocked on the door this morning all he said to me was "I'm sorry you have to wash the car in the rain"....never once thinking about cancelling. My way of saying thank you is treating his leather and sealing his rims every detail without even mentioning it or charging for it.
Take care of those that take care of you!!!
