The single most effective detailing product I've ever used!

Hi there
Crossfire says he ordered the magna sponge from ADS. I can't find ADS in the list of acronyms, who does it stand for?
Thanks, Tony.

I've never tried this but like you I do not really enjoy the claying. So with that siad it looks like an order will soon be placed. Thanks for the info.

I love this, too. A delight to use and even took off paint overspray with ease.

IME - ONR works better as a clay lube than DP RW&G (both lube strength) with it. Never noticed as much of a difference with regular clay. Dodo Born Slippy works even nicer.

Ok, Mark I just ordered 6 of these puppies on your recomendation! I hope I like it! :bigups
BTW the price goes down to 9.00 if you buy 6 at a time. Plus the shipping is just a couple dollars more.

Hi Tech Magna Sponge claims that soapy water is also a good lubricant.

I have used both soapy water and clay lube with the Magna Tech Sponge and both worked well.

I second Mark's statement that it's so much easier to use than clay.

Ive now had a chance to use these clay sponges on several cars. Over all Im very very happy with them but.......

Initially I was very dissapointed as it marred the heck out of my white Toyota paint and I even tried 5 different clay lubes with no pressure what so ever. My next car was a Toyota Prius and the same thing!:(

But after trying the sponge on a couple Mercedez , and a BMW I found absolutely no marring and it really speeded up the clay proccess and made it soooo much easier !!

Just beware of Toyota paint although I had a Toyota Avalon white pearl with no marring Yesterday.

Like I said I am actually thrilled but use this sponge with caution if your not going to polish afterwards.

Thanks Mark ! You made my work life a whole lot easier!!

Yessssss!!!! :yourrock

I think it makes claying MUCH easier, but as you said, use caution if you don't plan on polishing afterwards! Still, I'll never use normal clay again!

Soooo much easier!!!!I cant beleive I waited this long to try it !I admit I was sceptical at first . Thanks again Mark!:bigups

Thanks for the tip off about this product.

"I like mine to shine". I like that theamcguy.

Im still loving this sponge!!!

But a word of caution.....

Another Toyota pain I tried it on and it marred so apparently its too aggressive for Toyotas paint.

Also got some marring on a black mercedez so you really need to be careful with it.

What are you using as a lube? I have found it to matter more than with regular clay. Generally speaking, ONR and Dodo Juice Born Slippy have worked best for me.

You also have to be far more aware of "outkicking your coverage" (football analogy in honor of the Super Bowl).
