I am on a Nikon D80 now. Its time to step up my photography game. Switch to Canon? Or stay Nikon? D5 or D3000? I would do the 24-70 2.8 lens for either body. I really want live view to help with my photos. Any advice is greatly appreciated.



Heres an early evening shot, it needs more light I know, and with my current setup its difficult to get great shots without my tripod.

I love my 50mm f/1.8 prime.... don't have a 35mm. Since the Canon 60D is a 1.6x crop body it's actually an 85mm equivalent lens for me.

Yeah, that puts you right into prime portrait lens territory. The nifty fifty is a great lens all around. Any plans on picking up a 35mm?

I have a 50mm f1.8 but want to get a 35mm f.18 (Nikon) to get a normal view (35x1.5 crop=52mm equivalent)
