You sent me that before and I just can't imagine spending that kind of coin on a book. Sell me yours for $100! :)

great thread chad. i never bought myself a camera that cost more than $100 & some change. i drop things & brake things. heres my pos camera. this is seriously what ive been using for my pics. i will ask ronnie what hes using on sunday. notice the masking tape to keep the AA batteries from popping out. :eyebrows:

this camera actually takes good close shots. if i try to take a pic of a car across the street for ex...it will come out blurry. i use the auto setting & macro setting. takes poor & a bit dark pics inside the garage, takes poor pics at night. oh well.

having good photography is important.

i dont suggest this camera, just thought id share for the laughs

Rasky, lemme know how you like that lens. Im trying to decide between that Tokina and the Nikon 10-24mm.

Will do. I was looking at that one as well. It should be here today so I'll get back to you after I get to play around with it a bit. :)

Did I mention that I love Amazon Prime? :D

Sp i wanted to try out my new Tokina 11-16mm lens this weekend. Unfortunately I had a cancellation so shooting that car was out the door...however, that ended up giving me time to do some much need mechanical work on my winter beater. I also set up some product testing while I waited for the parts to show. This car doesn't make for a good photo subject but at least it gave me something to shoot. :)

These were hand held shots so they would probably have been a little better on a tripod. Either way I really like being able to get the whole car it now with ease. :)

I don't have a lot of photography experience however, I have learned that a good polarizing filter will do wonders if you have a camera that can accept them. It gets rid of a lot of glare. It is also good for shots with water in them. I'm shooting with a Canon 7D and an Olympus point and shoot (not that great).

Chad- I have always been a fan of how your photos come out. Always nice and clean and in focus :)

Thanks DJ! Not quite to the level of your pics though. You should post some up and share some of you tips! :)
