The New Z8 is Out!

I got my Z8 yesterday, and of course I had to try it. Good stuff. Followed the instructions and was conservative in how much I sprayed. I just did my car last week with Z2 Pro, and I like how slick Z8 left the surface. Good stuff. I'm happy with it.:D

I also got a chance to try the production version of Z8 yesterday.

I believe Sal's must have tweaked it one final time, it seems even better than the last beta sample. :woot:

The packaging is beautiful and elegant. :xyxthumbs

My only complaint is the non-misting sprayer. A very fine mist is all that is needed of Z8 to do the job if detailing indoors or outdoors on a non-windy day. I suggust finding a mist-er. Using too much is wasteful.

Hi guys-

New to board here but been a Zaino guy for a few years. I've seen other posts on Z8 but would like your opinion on what you think it provides that Z6 doesn't? I like the "diluteability" of Z6 (50/50 distilled) as well as how good it looks. Is Z8 that much better?

Thanks-

~John

Wow. I have an arctic silver BMW and can't imagine something better than Z6.......looks like Sal is going to get another order, the UPS man is going to make another stop, and the wife is going to give me "that look" when she tells me the UPS man was by....again :)

It's more durable or retains slickness much better than Z-6. Heck, I'd be interested in seeing how long this stuff lasts as a stand-along product. This stuff is perfect for me to use on the clear-bra portion of my car.... as waxing that area is a PITA.

And this is a good thing for Zaino users, is it not?

It is of course, I guess I was just reading it like it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. :nixweiss

Sonus Acrylic Glanz for acrylic Klasse

Pinnacle Crystal Mist for Souveran

Z8 for Zaino.

Complete different products intended for their LSP's.

No, Sal did not invent a new "detailing genre", but he did discover (develop) another component to enhance his already great system. :xyxthumbs

Zaino continues to be the bench mark car care products. IMO Z8 is without equal. The combo of Z2pro and Z8 is truly awesome.

Sure there will be haters, but we know what we have.

Sal ,you did it again

Finally ! Well, now I know why it is called "Grand Finale". I tried it on the hood, and it really intensified the reflectiveness, What is remarkable, is that reflected colors were very vibrant and vivid. I am going to strip everything and will use the Z8 in substitution for Z6.... I am well pleased and so far , I think the price is not an issue. I used just a few drops on the hood, so I think it will wind up being relatively economical. I would complain only if I had to use the entire bottle. Hopefully, the bottle will last until mid-summer or longer. (doesnt matter, I am getting another order in the pipe soon ) - I think this will be a popular Look ! ! ! Soooo nice ! !):bounce :bounce :bounce

Can the Z8 totally replace the steps where Z6 would be used (if money is not an issue) or is Z6 still needed?

Good question - for the hell of it yesterday, I did my wife's Escape with the Z-2 Pro and I used the Z-8 before and after. Came out Sweet , especially for silver. Even my wife noticed the increased depth, and that's not easy on silver.

Need to take some pictures and post them.

I guess I have no need for my new bottle of Z6. Oh well, maybe I can find a use for it.

Use the Z6 for (if you are doing multiple layers) the first layers... then use the Z8 for the final layer UNDER the Z2Pro. At least you can use up your product.... This is probably heresy to some, but I might try to figure out if it is possible to mix in a small amount of Z8 with the Z6...

I am going to be getting a lot of this stuff, so, I guess I can afford to mess with a couple oz's of Z8. No hype with this stuff ! It really rocks !:bounce :bounce :bounce

Definitely. I still have my original bottle of Z6 from 2001, and it still has about 1/4 full. I've been milking it all these years and STILL manage to use it to QD over entire vehicles with no problem. In fact it's the only bottle of Z6 I've ever had, and ever needed!
