agreed :up , these are just as nice as the mf's from CG's (not too impressed with their mf's), cobra, etc...

Ironically, I never really got into the really plush towels until it was recommended to use with S&W. I cant really say i ever got the hang of S&W as a quick detailer

S&W quick detailer? What is S&W? My mind is drawing blank right now and so is secret decoder ring.

Mickey C threw in a dragon fiber towel in a transaction, that was a very nice towel too.

Out of all the "no knap" towels I had I thought the Dragon Fibre was the softest feeling. However, after I tried the Cobra Jr. towels I sold all my "no knap" towels (mostly Cobra Indigos).

I might give some of those CG towels a try though. I was tossing around the idea of ordering some CG stuff anyway.

Is thicker better? More nap to hide debris, more linting, less bite. Our supplier has a super thich nap Microfiber and I turned it down. I soooo want to stock some just cause they are so plush but I can't help asking myself "Do I want a towel cause it is thick and plush, or do I want a towel that is practical"

They say it is. They say thickness is as important as size. :D

On the other (serious) note though ...

Isn't hiding of debris away from surface actually a good thing? You say it as if it is a bad thing. Doesn't that borrow itself well to things like use with ONE?

Isn't less bite sometimes good thing? CMA says microfiber polishing bonnets remove too much and suggest micro-suede with less bite instead.

... or you want a towel that will sell? Stock them and let customers decide whether they like them or not.

I'll also vouch for the quality of Mother's QD towel. They're the same as the Kmart Viking green QD towel, except they're bigger, comes in gold, yet still cost the same.

Nice part is that you can buy them OTC and the quality is just as good as boutique brands.

LOL, I should have known I was opening up a debate! LOL.

Ya, you can look at it sooo many ways.

It depends if you can see it and how long its there till it comes out to bite ya.

Less bite sometimes forces you to use too much pressure.

You are right, who am I to tell them what they need! Besides, so many things are subjective, just cause I don't like it don't mean person B won't either.

Personally, I want to try that mothers quick detail mocrofiber but right now I am LOVING my CG elite towels, these blow my cobra ultra plush jr towels out of the water, no more cobra for me ever, these CG ones are 10 times better IMO and cheaper.

However, best value in microfiber IMO is the vroom drying towel (the yellow one), great QD towel, and I use these many times for my final wipedown if I do not use a CG elite.

The plush side is as plush as the chemical guys elite towels, and plusher than the cobra ones by far. Theyre so huge, you can fold them so many times its like having 6 regular sized microfibers, and theyre only $7 each.

Large chain stores have really been stepping up their game for Microfiber. In the near future we will likely all be buying microfiber from Walmart LOL. Even the high quality microfiber we sell can be bought from my same supplier in Korea for $0.30USD/ea if you buy 50,000 QTY!!

Okay, who want to split an order... :chuckle:

I'm not big on the Cobras either. They were the first boutique mf I received last year and I thought they were nice. But then I got a few plush mf's from Bob at Danase, and they are much softer.

Although It's been since last summer since I had a need for more microfiber I feel like I've completely fallen out of the loop.

I never found any better quality towels anywhere than from Pakshak. And if I wanted bang for he buck the Elite towel from Microfibertech is I believe the best towel out there for the money.

Can any of you compare the products in this thread to the ones I've mentioned?

Also...not to sidetrack but does anyone know where you can find the big grey drying towell that microfibertech used to sell?

Andy

Please don't listen to me. The CG's elite plush and the Mother's are the best towels available for multi-purpose use. Removing wax, washing, QD, buffing etc. They will suck up the Pacific Ocean!!
