Junkman2008 said:And it's a shame that you feel this is some kind of badge of honor. It is guys like you that keep a lot of people from contributing here. We were just in discussion today about that very thing on another forum. As much as you think that you are a contributor here, you are in fact a distraction and it is your types that keep me and many others from being active contributors here.
When your name appears at the bottom of my paycheck, you can start expecting something from me. I can tell you now, THAT won't happen in this lifetime.
Vista_Stang said:My personal opinion of Adam's and The Junkman himself have been nothing short of top notch. Back when I was searching on better products and proper techniques I ran across Adam's videos on google. From there I placed a few orders and have never had a problem with the products or customer service. Just this past summer, I had my storage broken into and a lot of detailing equipment stolen and Adam's helped me with accounting for orders placed over 2 years ago so that I could show proof of ownership. I had that within a couple hours of contacting Ashley.
On behalf of Junkman, it was he who showed me just to what extent Adam's polishes could be used with his videos on wetsanding and countless others. He stresses technique more than anything which I whole-heartedly agree with because I know for one thing, when I started, my technique was poor and I didn't achieve near the results I do now.
Again, I am only chiming in because people want to hear from Adam's users and I am a lifetime customer because of the ease of use and their customer service. I have also converted multiple people over to Adam's through my results. And, as was stated, Adam's isn't the only product out there as I use Meguiars and am contemplating trying the Menzerna line for more heavy correction issues, but Adam's is definitely a good starting point for novices and people who want a simple line to choose from.
David Fermani said:For clarification, my comments now and at the start of this thread many months ago are not intended as a bashing of Adam’s products, but of their presence (or lack of it) here on Autopia. IMHO their efforts have been poorly executed and hopelessly pale in comparison to ANY other sponsor this site has ever had (even after DavidB publically encouraged your participation). By visiting their own forum and others they are a part of clearly makes someone scratch their head as to why they’ve held back constructive participation here when it flows quite rapidly elsewhere. I also feel by their lack of effort, that they may have not only let down Autopia and its members, but their customers and detailing in general. They can try using me as their irrational scapegoat for their premature unexplained exit, but they and many here that follow the goings on know they’ve let us down and copped out on their duty as a sponsor.
Junkman2008 said:Well Mr. Leader of the South Florida Detailing World, Adam's participates with their WALLET. They contribute to the reason you can post for free. I don't see the term "Supporting Vendor" under your name so just how much of an asset are you to this board? If Adam had a problem with our participation level, he would have replaced us. He is the only one who has to be happy with what we do here so you probably can figure out what you can do with YOUR opinion.
This thread is about Adam's Polishes and how to use them. If you don't care for the product or us, don't bother entering or posting in the thread. Go help where ever it is you supposedly contribute. We can handle our threads without your input.

I don't know where this guy gets off. As if he was appointed the knighter of all who are worthy to be here. If he were that important, his face or signature would be on one of these bills I have in my pocket.

Suggesting that Adams is more of an asset to the forum than David because they 'participate with their WALLET' just plain sucks. What a jerk! In fact 10 minutes on youtube makes me wonder if Junkman is really qualified to endorse a product.
Wonder how many members will stay away from Adams products after this.
