Guys,

What are your opinions of Best Car Wash Concentrate overall?

Criteria to keep in mind ---> 1) Cleaning Power

2) Shine & Gloss

Thanx for the input.

For the price: 4* Car Wash Conc.

Cleaning Power: Eimann Fabrik

Botique (shine/gloss/lubricity): Wolfgang Auto Bathe

For your criteria Z7.

If you want to preserve your wax and want a very mild cleaner, TOL Bubble Bath.

I also really like the smell of Mothers, and it's a good cleaner too.

I like Megs Gold Class Car wash--especially after I found a 1 gal bottle at Target for $9.99.

2nd choice would be Z7--love the smell and cleaning power. Not so crazy about the price. I save this stuff for when I get in a Zaino phase.

Got Meg's Gold Class Shampoo in Costco for $9 (1 Gal+). The slickness isn't so good but the product has great value for the price. :xyxthumbs

Tough to beat the Meg's Gold Class. Remember, the purpose of the detergent is to get the car clean. The shine and gloss come from the finish.

I use a combo Zaino Z7 (2 capfuls) and 1Z Perls (1-2 caps) per 2 gallons of water exclusively.

Zaino's excellent cleaning ability with the added gloss of Perls.

1. Zanio Z7

2. Groit's Car Wash

3. (testing) Menzerna Auto Shampoo

Remember, the purpose of the detergent is to get the car clean. [there are better way to do this than use detergents though]

The shine and gloss come from the finish [true, but once it is there detergents will stip it off]

The reference to gloss, is this how gentle the shampoo is ie not removing significant amounts of wax?

Both Z7 and 1Z Perls have gloss enhancers. Z7 has the same polymers that are in their polishes. The wonderful part about the Z7 is that has great cleaning ability at the same time the ability to re-enforce the existing sealant (Z2/Z2-PRO/Z5).

For carnauba protected finishes: Recommendations: 1Z PERLS and Sonus Hi Gloss. Very mild (less cleaning ability) car shampoos that tend to preserve protection (wax).

Could you tell us what some of these better ways are please?

Thanks
