Now I am all too familiar with the nasty bugs of the DelMarVa area. They are bad (but not as bad as those nasty bird like bugs in Florida), and make a serious mess on your car.
Now, I would not have to normally deal with this problem (bugs that is), but I drive to the ocean (Delaware) each weekend, which destroys any detailing that I did the week (or days) prior to the trip.
I do not have problems cleaning bugs off of the car, but for some reason the bugs are extremely difficult to remove off of my windshield.
I have found the only way to get all of the bugs (and their insides) off of the car, is to use rubbing alcohol, and some serious elbow grease. It takes a bit of time to get it all the way off of my windshield.
Do any of you have any suggestions as to what I could do to get the bugs off easier? Is there anything that I can put into my windshield cleaner that would "boost" it? I have tried the PS21 Windshield Washer Boot, and it does nothing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards.
