I got to drive the new A4 3.2 w/ drive select at the following event:
Audi of America > Truth in Engineering > Audi Driving Experience
Maybe they have one in your area, just sign up on the above link.
Got to drive it on a autox course vs the following:
IS250 AWD
MB C300 AWD
BMW 328xi
Now of course I and many others present would of liked to seen the new A4 compared to the C350, IS350 and 335. The C350 and IS350 are not available in AWD and the 335xi would of been $6-8k more the audi guys at the event claimed.
So IMO they are kind of stacking the deck in Audi's favor.
Let me first say that the new A4 3.2 was much better then any of the others on the auotx course. The BMW might have been the worst and yes we have owned 2 other BMWs plus have a 99 740 right now. So I would consider myself a BMW fanboy.
We also got to take out the new A4 on a bigger track that they had setup. 4 cars in a group following a lead instructor. If the group kept the cars tight, the instructor would go faster. I was lucky to be in a fast group and had a great time.
