Grimm said:Maybe I'm missing something, but how is this System One any different than other polishes? I mean, he was still using two steps. Wool with the polish, and then the foam side with polish to remove the haze from the wool. It might save you from having a compound and a polish, but I can do the same thing with something like Menzerna SIP. Use it with orange to remove heavy swirls, and then slap on a white pad and use the same polish to get a nice finish.
zoomzoom mazda5 said:Toto, do you do a wipe down after you use System one? (50/50 or prep-sol?)
Totoland Mach said:I got a chance to talk to Tom Horvath the System One inventor with some questions about his product and mentioned this thread on Autopia.
According to Tom, not only are you welcome to wipe down the polished panel with solvent at the Mobile Tech Expo in Clearwater FL this week, but you are also welcome to do the actual buffing prior to wiping it down!!!
I'm not a rep or employee of his company, but that's a pretty good statement to make for anyone that doubts the veracity of the product.
Hope to see some of you in Clearwater!

VaSuperShine said:Do you have any affiliation? You seem to defend it so strong and mention it so much, did you receive a free sample or work out any type of deal whatsoever with this guy? If so it's only fair we know about it.
Totoland Mach said:No Sir...zero affiliation other than an enthusiastic user. Paid retail for the Pro Kit, then ordered a Gallon of X3 polish and a gallon of Wax. If there is a shortcoming with the system it's my limited use of the Edge pad system...I just don't like large pads (prefer the Meguiar's So1o mid-pad size) and don't feel comfortable with a steel adapter in the middle of the pad...but that's just me probably.

VaSuperShine said:I was never uncomfortable with the edge bp system in fear of it coming in contact with the polishing surface, I personally just don't like the pads I have used. Of course they are all 8 inch, black, green, white, and yellow, the cell system just didn't give me the feel lc pads do.
The Edge said:Which of our pads did you work with? We make pads in many types of foam including ones that our competition uses but in our quick connect system. Please veiw all our foam types available on our website under the foam texture chart. Be sure to click all the tabs. I am sure you will see the foam that you prefer.
TH0001 said:I don't have a lot of experience with Edge foam, other then the yellow pad is terrible and the blue pad split in half the first time I used it. I know you guys don't make your own foam, but are you saying you use the same exact foam as Lake Country? I really seem to prefer the LC pads over Edge, but again, I have had bad experience with Edge so maybe my views are skewed.
