Super Wet

I always apply via UDM with a blue pad. This ensures a more even spread and you use less product. I always do the whole car and after I am done I buff it off with a MF. I wouldn't say that I burnish it till all the haze is gone, but when using the UDM, a lot of it does clear up, leaving very little to buff off.

Thanks Doc, I'll try to apply with a pc next time. Just got a 5.5" red ccs pad to try out.

OK, after much procrastinating, I just ordered some DWG from Bob! Going to be the most expensive glaze in th world by the time it gets to me  but I hope it will be worth it :D

Already done multiple layers of UPGP on 1 car, and have 1 more to polish and top later in the month, so this should be just perfect.....

Sweet! Let us know how you like it.

Here is what DWG and UPGP can do. First I applied 2 coats of UPGP 12 hours apart, followed by 2 coats of DWG, then one last coat of UPGP to seal in the DWG. Judge the results for yourself.

Wow. That's wet!

Then Legacy99 follows your procedure, and comes up with this:

Ugh. I love my OS, but my addiction to trying new sealants is bound to lead me to UPGP! :wall

You can never go wrong with this combo.

Detaildoc- Do you reccomend putting the UPGP down first and then after it cures then apply the glaze or would it be ok to apply the glaze and then UPGP? I am looking for the best results so whatever you reccomend sounds good.

Thanks

I'm a huge experimenter and recently tried DWG and UPGP like many others in this thread suggest.

Multiple layers of DWG, ditto with the UPGP and results on my red car are similar to the two silver ones posted, except with a distinct reddish undertone rather than the silver/gray hues. Red car - Dooh! Huge shine nonetheless, a real head turner.

A tip for prospective buyers of DWG: add a few bucks to your order with Bob and get a couple of his PHAT towels. That's an acronym for Plush, Hsomething, And Thick, and they're exactly as described. Perfect for buffing off the your lsps. They're the thickest microfibers I have and I have a few.

As KnuckleBuckett wrote, except I believe I only did one final coat of UPGP after the DWG.

Pics, pics, we want pics.

I haven't been on the forums in a long time, but I have been using DWG for several months. I use it with Jeff's Werkstatt AJT and get a similar result on my Silver car. I may break down and try UPGP at some point.

detaildoc, your results are stunning to say the least. This might push me over the edge. How slick is the finish, and how has durability holding up for you?

I've found waiting about 30 minutes before topping DWG with another coat or a QD. Tried it once immediately after and 425 tended to cloud a little but not after waiting a bit.

Very slick. The look with the DWG under the sealant lasts about 3-4 weeks. The UPGP alone I would say around 5-6 months for me, but application for both is so easy, that durability is not a factor for me because I can add more of either at any time.

Hi Doc, which look do you like better DWG on top of UPGP or vice versa?
