Sunday Road Trip to the Lake with 4 Vettes....

I'm not a big fan of it. It has a gloss which is a little shinier than I like (a little used car lot looking) and is very messy to apply.

Thanks, guys. I'd also like to try Eagle One Concours Dressing, which is available from CMA. I've seen the snapshot Brad took of his Porsche's wheel/tire, which is

exactly the finish I'm looking for...

I use Zaino on my Porsche Tires and Eagle One on my Audi tires. They are both good products with very similar shine. Zaino will outlast Eagle One. They apply equally easily. (Say that three times fast.)

High gloss shine. If the wind is blowing you end up with tire shine all over the car. It now just sits on the shelf. Like Vinylex and EF Black Opal much better.

You sure you're not talking about Meguiars? I hate that stuff. But Eagle One has not given me any grief at all.

Don't like Meguiars either. It is thick and just a mess, attracts dust and everything. Stoners being a spray just don't work well for me.

Stoner's makes two types of MSLT products. Use the non-silicone version if you can find it. (Non-silicone More Shine Less Time for Vinyl, Plastic & Rubber)

Sunday Road Trip to the Lake with 4 Vettes....

It's been cloudy and rainy for the last 8 DAYS!!!!

Today the forecast was for 65 and bright sunshine so we decided to take a little road trip down to Lake of the Ozarks... about 300 miles round trip.

We drove to Sedalia for lunch at Kehde's Bar-B-Que, then drove on down to Bagnall Dam. Walked around for a couple hours, got some ice cream... drove home.

What a day!

We were probably a week early for really bright fall colors, but nontheless, it was a fun trip....

Here are a few pics.....

Looks like a fun ride Bill.

When you stopped did you take a few minutes to QD the vette? ;)

Haha.... no, but I stopped at the coin-op car wash on the way home... I ran over some kind of a furry corpse that thumped the undercarriage. I wanted to get the entrails off the bottom of the car!:driving:

Those cars only sit 4" above the pavement, so if you can't avoid a possum or racoon who has met his Maker by a previous vehicle, it's blender time.:scared: (Chop-Chop!)

Hard to beat crusing the twisties with a Corvette in that weather.......

Looks like you guys picked a perfect day....

Whenever you have a chance to take 35 mph curves at 70 without breaking the tires loose, I say go for it! That thing corners like it's on rails!!!
