So my brother picked up a 2005.5 Audi A4. The paint is in *ok* shape however it does have swirls and quite a few RIDS.
I have a whole host of pads at my aresenal, including a 3.5" PFW. My only tool is a PC.
My PFW and Optimum Compound didn't really do a whole heck of a lot. I think the PFW is great...I'm thinking the OC may not be aggressive enough, I know how hard Audi clear can be.
Short of buying a Flex, what are some suggestions you all may have? Do you think M105 would be a better choice of polish?
Also - what backing plate do you guys use with the 3.5" PFW? I have a 3.5" LC Backing plate. As you can imagine, it's a close fit. Is there a smaller backing plate is recommended?
