Starter kit for personal use?

Alexia please try the least aggressive method first and try to stay away from the yellow pads... they tend to marr up the paint on the PC so try a white pad with M105 before you try yellow with M80 or similar.

Absolutely, I intend to test every thing first.

Yeah, and I wouldn't match a yellow cutting pad with #80 anyhow, it's too harsh a pad for that product.

Generally, using a harsh product with a mild pad works well but using a harsh pad with a mild product is a bad idea. Only use as harsh a pad as is necessary to let the product work to its full potential; don't try to make a mild product more aggressive by using the wrong pad.

I have been spending the past hour looking at the product labels, cut strength, and pad cut strength trying to figure out if some one mixed the numbers up some where. :D

So many product numbers, so much confusion.

why not go with Ultimate Compound and Swirl-X as those two products are made specifically for a dual action polisher such as a PC - longer work time and dirt cheap. I'd get about 6 white pads, too.
