Alexia please try the least aggressive method first and try to stay away from the yellow pads... they tend to marr up the paint on the PC so try a white pad with M105 before you try yellow with M80 or similar.

Generally, using a harsh product with a mild pad works well but using a harsh pad with a mild product is a bad idea. Only use as harsh a pad as is necessary to let the product work to its full potential; don't try to make a mild product more aggressive by using the wrong pad.
