Yes, some people don't like this vanity number, because

it is only valid from cell phones. How much of an issue

is this to our profession? What percentage of owners

who care about their cars don't already use a cell?


I personally have no idea, but I would wager over 80%.

The penny pinchers who don't have a cell are less likely

to want their car detailed. They save money and do it themselves.


Having to need two numbers is the largest argument against star star numbers, but factoring in the value of

a name like gloss outweighs this hugely
 
I tried to talk a friend of mine who owns a lawn care company to register **lawncare but he wouldn't do it! The marketing potential on the ground floor of something like this is unreal. It gives you incredible branding power and legitimacy. I'm working on a plan to work this into almost everything I do.
 
Yes, I suggested this to a local Segway company

because **Segway was still open.


While this is not new (since 2011), it was only on 2013

that it was opened to all the major four carriers.


The fact that you can have it go to your phone,

Or a website for alternate contact information is a great

way to get some time to yourself.
