So, I just bought a PC but have waited on buying pads because I'm not sure what I'm going to need. My first inclination was to just get the PC Accessory Bundle from CMA but wonder if I really need all the pads for my 2 year old car. Do I need a lambswool pad? I want to take care of swirls, but don't have heavy oxidation to worry about. What use are the terry cloth bonnets if I just want to apply SMR, AIO, and SG? Should I just buy the backing plate, a few white polishing/waxing pads and a grey pad for detail?
Finally, on a tangent, I've heard a lot of people recommend PPCL as a step after claying. But, if I'm already using AIO to clean/prep the surface, what good is PPCL going to do that a simple rinse and AIO application wouldn't otherwise accomplish. Let's face it, I'm trying to budget a little here so I'm trying to decide between wants and needs.
Thanks for your input,
Kory
