Is there a way to reduce the gloss on the leather of the BMW. Seems to have the kind of shiney wear look. I would like to it be more of a matte. I use Zaino z-10 or Lexol. Lexol seems more matte, but the zaino is much easier.

Shiny Lil Detlr said:did you install those katzkin covers yourself? And did you order through an upholstery shop or on your own? I'm going to be ordering a set of those for my truck soon, but I don't quite know what to expect. :wavey
TedS said:Yeah, I got brave and did them myself. It wasn't too bad of a job...just time consuming taking all the seats apart and then putting them back together. With some patience and a helping hand you should do alright. You can order whatever style and color you want at www.autoleathers.com. Check out the write-up I did on the install... Katzkin Install
Shiny Lil Detlr said:great write-up! But now I'm curious.... you mention a "sample ring" as opposed to the sample booklet. I've currently got the booklet, but see no mention anywhere of the sample ring. Where do I order that?
I've got a basic idea what I want, but I need to be absolutely sure if I'm spending $700+ on this project.
TedS said:Just call them up and ask for a sample ring, they'll send you one free of charge.
