sheepskin mitts again..

?

do any of you know if turtle wax Sheepskin mitts are quality kind of like what was suggested target, sheepskin and so on...i have to already i picked out of the bunch they had @ kragen this one is with a thumb....anythought...tia

I would agree that the many mitts are best selected in person. I may have been lucky with my first order from sheepskin.com, because all of the mitts were reasonably close.

I don't think you get my point. There is no best place or vendor. It's very inconsistent mitt to mitt. You can check out Walmart for example and the Euro mitts they sell there. They might have twenty mitts and no two will be the same. In fact out of twenty I would be lucky to find two that I like. You can also check out Target. The point is where ever you go you have to be selective because the mitts are inconsistent in quality.

I recently ordered from sheepskin.com and have been very happy with the mitts. They are square (no thumb). The mitts are very soft and plush.
thanks for the sheepskin site :punk: great prices to :punk:
I dont think our k-mart/wallmart are going to have any or many quality mitts around here. I saw the sad ones at autozone the other day
These at sheepskin.com look great :punk:

Thanks Glen let me know how you like'em..

Joe P: Here's a look at the mitts from sheepskin.com. I ordered 2 of each, and they were all very good quality. I did notice a difference in sheepskin & feel between the mitts. The most softest ones = the camel & black mitt. The silver one is very dense/plush, but not as soft. It looks/feels like a different nap.

I have 5 from them(3 silver and 2 camel), are the black and camel 'equally soft'? I find the silver ones bigger and plusher whereas the camel ones are extremely soft :punk:

I posted in another thread about the mitts. the thicker denser mitts are not as soft/plush as the mitts not as thick..did this make sense?

I'll say this... the mitts that I posted are quality.

The black & camel mitts are pretty close (Chee).

-And not comments on me saying 'the most softest'.

Trying to get a laugh, and it didn't work!!!

Cheers ...indeed the camel ones are 'the most softest' than all the sheepskin mitts that I have :D

ps: Now I need to get the black one to complete my collection :howdy :howdy

So what dryer setting are you guys using to dry the mitts? I would assume Low. I think this is a great idea. Although my mitts do not smell i find they do seem to fall apart after about 6 months so maybe this is do to air drying.

none that I am aware of no..

O Well guess i will just go ahead and order. I know sometimes when you order from a place they will give you a code in the confirmation email saying thanks for buying and signing up.

Well i went ahead and placed an order from sheepskin.com and also asked if i could get and additonal 10% off my order as well as asked for a 10% discount code to be used by our members here. I gave them a link to this thread as well.

I use a thumb less mitt so it is no problem flipping the mitt.

As for the feel and smell of the mitt I find rinsing the mitt well after use and drying it inside out in the dryer prevents what you are talking about. Allowing the mitt to dry on it's own has always resulted in rot and this caused the smell you are talking about. Drying in the dryer has also increased the life of my mitts a least 12 fold. I used to get a month out of a mitt before it literally disintegrated but since I started drying in the dryer I get a year easy.
Anthony your advice with throwing the mitt in the dryer was right on,after washing the car today i did exactly as you said and the mitt came out as soft as it was when i bought it and smelled fresh and clean. Thanks for the heads up..
