If this is a repost, my bad.
I've recently been applying a winter sealant to my car, and so had been using planning the use of AIO, SGx3 and then megs 16 to top it cause its red.
I really don't know if i like SG.
First of all i was thrown of by its viscosity. The stuff is like milk, and comes out relatively fast if you're not careful.
Second, i dislike how thin you have to apply it, because i usually do my work on my car in a shop at night and oftenly the left over application is so faint it looks just like the swirls i have on my car.
Thirdly, i don't care for how you have to let it cure a day between coats.
Fourthly, its shine is exactly as people refer to it as "candy coated"
I'm complaining alot, and its not fair, but when i was buying my SG i think i expected a different product, because i didnt research it enough.
I do appreciate a few things about SG however.
The protection it gives is teh bets, and it beads like no other in the rain.
If you're a wax/sealant conservationist you literally use a drop of the stuff per panel.... anymore and you sweat trying to remove it.
works well on windshield.
anyway klasse sg is probably not for me. the idea of having to use three coats over three days to get bets possible results is not my "thang"
Cliffs notes:
Annoying to apply/remove
candy coated shine
24 hr cure time = annoying
good on windows
EXCELLENT PROTECTION THUS FAR
for all the work, just not worth it.
6.3/10
