There is this company which I have to congratulate. They use gimmicks such as scents and brilliant colors to appeal to our senses. I guess it's like a pack of cigs. The cover is a sale point. I read better reviews on other products but their marketing sure brings me back every time. No, I have not used many of there products. But to my better judgment I keep looking at their products rather than going with what the reviews read. It's like a candy store for the senses. Maybe it's just me and I am a stupid sucker, idiot....I am trying very hard to say no. I won't give in to impulse. Colors and scents don't make for a better looking car. But it sure would look pretty on my shelf.
At the end of the day the reviews you read in many instances aren't worth anymore than the colors and scents of which you speak. Literally you can name a product and a desired opinion, do a search and you can find the review you want.
If you want to know what a product or company is all about you've got to put the product through the paces yourself. You have to do it in your environment, with your budget, using your equipment. Until you've done that it's simply speculation or someone else's opinion. Most of the time they will not be using the same equipment you use or put against the environmental factors you face.
As has been mentioned, given two products all else being equal I will take one with a pleasant scent any day. Do you mind telling us which company has the pretty products that tempt you? It seems that you are slamming a product/company admitting little experience with the product.
I can name several that do exactly what you are saying with varying degrees of success. Chemical Guys, PoorBoys and DP just to name a few. Each of these companies have products I would use and one I use frequently and is my product of choice (assuming I have to name one). I use the product because I like the result, the scent and pretty colors are a bonus. If people end up liking the product it probably goes beyond colors and scents.
I'm not real sure where you're going with a lot of your posts. Seems like this is almost a backdoor stab at a particular vendor. For you to be congratulatory, you sure didn't name any names. I'm beginning to question what your true motives might be, or better yet if you're someone else behind another different (or perhaps multiple) screen name.
I dunno - maybe I'm a bit too skeptical.....
I too am wondering what your intentions are here. If you've got something to say, spit it out. Young Living Essentials is located a few miles south of me, mentioning their products in a detailing environment seems quite bizarre. I'm sure they would tell you this isn't their target audience.
