This Saab took two days to put right, it had heavy swirl/cobweb, deep scratching and heavy overspray on the grill.
First, a good cleanse, wheels with VP Bilberry and several Vikan brushes. Bodywork Citrus pre-clean, then Megs Shampoo plus with Sonus mit and towel.
Door jams with megs APC.
Dried off, and taken inside. Then clayed with CYC yellow Poly.
Inspected, looked a LOT worse in person, as the 50/50 will show when I get to them.
Masked off ready to go
First, a bit of wet sanding on some deeper scratching and poor respray finish on bumper, here's some work on scratching, not completely gone, but as far as I was willing to go.
before -
During -
After -
Easy testing led quickly to Menz IP 85 RD with a Sonus SFX1 pad.
Finishing with Menz FF 106FA on SFX 2 pad.
Here's some 50/50.
And when the polish choice was found -
Light clusters - SFX3
Wheel centers - Plastx
Ext.trim - AG Bumper care
Arches/rubber - AS Highstyle
Glass - AS Glass Clear
Wheels - Carlack twins
Bodywork -
Carlack NSC pre-wax clean
LSP - Swiss. Best Of Show.
