Wolfgang Deep Gloss Liquid Seal

Big thanks to Nick and AG for letting me try these new Wolfgang products ahead of the release. I really appreciate it :dblthumb2:

I recently washed the car with Iron X snow soap, and it’s been parked in the parking garage for the last 2 days. I gave the car a quick waterless wash and IPA wipe down.

Heres the car, Looks clean huh….guess again

Well there was tons of black dust from the construction going on downtown. I went with Blackfire Waterless and some plush towels (used about 10 or so).

After the waterless wash the car got a IPA wipe down, my IPA mix is about 20% IPA mixed with Megs D114.

First I primed the pad with 2 squirts and one per panel and spread it in a straight line motion. Here is a shot of the Wolfgang Flashing.

I was losing daylight so quickly took the car to the roof for some shots:

The shine is wet and deep. After curing for one hour the finish feels even slicker than after applying it.

These pictures don’t really do any justice to how awesome the Liquid Seal is; today I only applied one coat of it. I didn't have enough time to clean the windows or the wheels and tires. Tomorrow I will be cleaning the wheels with the New Wolfgang Uber Cleaner and will reapply another coat of liquid seal from top to bottom of the car(except the windshield applied GtechG1).

Even at the $29.99 price point this stuff is a amazing buy each bottle will give you about 45 application thats $.67 a application. :buffing:

At the current price of $21.99 grab it enjoy the wet dripping shine.Im the MAN

Feel free to ask questions and will get some morning shots soon.

Thanks for the review, hope this helps other folk's out there who were thinking of getting it and now they should.:bigups

How do u think it compares to the Blackfire CS? I just bought a bottle of the WG and will test it out this weekend. BTW, the WG doesn't come with applicators.

Stuart BFCS holds a special place in my heart ;). But I haven't had a chance to compare the 2.
No applicators...

Hey DD, just tried out my new arrival yesterday. Looks great, easy to apply - all the things we've come to love about BFCS. Honestly, I can't tell a difference at this point (which is a good thing). I'll see if the car beads up any differently when wet but I'm going to guess it's about the same or not a big enough difference to notice with the naked eye. The WGLS might be a little glossier - might be. It was raining most of the day yesterday so I didn't have a chance to view the finished results in the sunlight. Shame about the applicators right?

Well, just finished apply a fourth coat of the new WG Liquid Seal-waiting a least 2 hrs between applications. Outstanding. Very glossy and slick to the touch. I didn't do a head to head comparison with it's BF twin sister, but.... I would recommend either product and if one is on sale, go with that. Here are a few pix.

I didn't mention it but I washed, clayed and KAIO with a LC Flat White PaD, final wipe down with Menzerna Top Inspection THEN 4 coats of WGLS. Tried the LC-HT Crimson first but honestly, didn't work as well as the flat white pad. Needed just a little cut since this car is my daily driver and sits out all the time during the work week.

I know you're supposed to do paint corrections before applying a sealant but, would it be that bad if I applied opti-seal after only a wash?

Thats fine, I have done that many times. As long as its not a permanent coating you should be fine. I am going to use the Wolfgang on my TSX and wifes car soon. Both of those wont get a correction till spring.

Thats a great looking car Stuart. How many miles on it so far?
