This is good info. I hope this thread scares off many of their potential customers as they are certainly not a good company.

fdizzle said:ok . . . update, on my end at least. 3 hours on the phone with top of the line and duramaid have convinced me that their unit is worth a shot. dont mean to thread jack. A unit like the spyder or sensi is just overkill for what i do . . . their to big, to much soloution. now, if you could find a unit like the duramaid in size that had a 137 inch lift and 100+ psi i dont care who said what it would be charge don my amex card faster than a case of mg 16 would go for if sold for 100 bucks . . .
so im left with the azted (thanks danase for youe help) the duramaid, the unit from rightlook.com and one other one (cant remember at this tiem where it was) and they all look the same.
i have decided to try the duramaid, and beleive me folks . . with the ammount of time and effort i have put into this search, if this thing dosent work autopia will never hear the end of it. but, the optimist in me knows it will, and the people at top of the line and duramaid have gone out of their way, in what appeared to me very honest, and unbiassed manner, to assure me their product would preform, and if i had a problem there would be a way to get it resolved.
im not a pro detailer. Im a full time college student with a full time job. i detail because it is one of the few things that make me feel "away" from everything else. i love it . . . enough to consider the idea of making it my living. i would feel like a complete jerk if i bought something new without consulting the autopia community beforehand.
i have seen mixed reviews on this unit. hopefully mine will add to the posative side of things. I dont think any of us like speaking in an ill fashion concerning a product, so when we do, i would like to beleive members are doing it to express their discontent, and to prevent others form making a mistake with their money . . .
shaun, thanks for posting . . . i found all of this out today, and i am just now seeing your post.
