Whatever removal media you use, I'd saturate it with a good QD. I prefer natural materials for this as they will usually soften up when wetted with QD whereas synthetic fibers (e.g., bristles of most brushes) won't.
Note that you call pull the cotton off a Q-tip (or use women's cotton wool makeup balls) and then work it into tight spots with a small, sharp stick. Be careful not to mar paint with the stick by poking through the cotton! I've also had success with the sharpened stick itself, but you gotta flag the tip with a razor blade/etc. and really *soak* it with QD to soften up the wood fibers or you'll get marring.
