Rear camera shorted out and they want me to pay

This is a hard lesson to learn, but hopefully other detailers will take heed. I know many do a pre-detail inspection of the paint and interior, maybe electronics are one more thing to check before working on a clients car. Just to CYA (cover your a**) .



I hope this works out for you and that they agree that you are not responsible.

Just checking back in to see what the end result was...but I guess we still don't know. Hopefully it was turned over to insurance, cause there is no way the customer will pull the wool over on them like he's trying to do to this guy. I mean crimeny - these cameras have to be built to withstand machine and high-pressure car washes.
